Jayne E. Juvan is a partner in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis LLP. She focuses her practice on corporate governance, risk oversight, regulatory compliance and transactions, and counsels public and high-growth private companies, private equity funds, and venture capital funds from initial formation through all stages of the business life cycle. She received her B.A. from Kent State University and her J.D., (summa cum laude) from Capital University Law School.
She is co-author of Bloomberg BNA Corporate Practice Portfolio Series No. 110, Securities Practice Portfolio Series (No. 240). This portfolio volume provides a valuable means to lure and retain talent and to provide an incentive for corporate management to perform in the best interest of shareholders, but as executive pay has increased, so has state and federal oversight of the compensation of corporate pay practices. This portfolio covers the complex and wide-ranging body of law governing executive pay, including the federal securities statutes, SEC regulations, the Internal Revenue Code and state corporate law.
