Brian C. Judkins is a Partner in the Cincinnati office of Dinsmore & Shohl LLP where he focuses on corporate law matters, including private and public securities offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Judkins has extensive experience in a variety of industries, from health care to software. He has worked with start-up entities, guiding them through both organizations and capital raising. At the same time, Mr. Judkins has significant transactional experience with companies of all sizes.

Mr. Judkins is a member of the Leadership Academy, Departmental Training, Associate Retreat and Professional Development Committees at Dinsmore.

He received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Mr. Judkins is a co-author of Bloomberg BNA Corporate Practice Portfolio Series No. 55-4th, The Ohio Corporation: Legal Aspects of Organization and Operation.  This portfolio volume discusses the legal considerations in organizing and operating a corporation under Ohio law. It is designed to lead the practitioner step-by-step through the processes of incorporating and organizing an Ohio corporation. The Portfolio discusses the major areas of corporate practice, including formation, capitalization, governance, reorganization and dissolution of the corporation. It also includes discussion of takeover considerations where appropriate, Ohio securities law provisions from a corporate formation viewpoint, and foreign corporation provisions.
