Filipa joined Abreu Advogados in September 2007 and has been active in intellectual property and privacy-related issues. From the firm's office in Porto, she works on data protection, copyright, and trademark matters, principally in Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries. She advises clients in matters related to online privacy compliance, online profiling, and cookie policies, and she drafts and reviews mobile app guidelines, data processor agreements, privacy policies, terms of use, and official rules for online contests. Filipa has a law degree from the University of Lisbon, has completed post-graduate studies in Intellectual Property from the same university, and holds a Masters degree on Creative Industries Management from the Catholic University of Portugal Law School.
