Martin works as an Associate in Mannheimer Swartling’s IT, Telecom and Technology (ITT) and Intellectual Property, Marketing and Media (IMM) practice groups in Gothenburg, Sweden, and has more than three years’ experience of qualified legal counseling. Martin has a particularly extensive experience of assisting Swedish and foreign companies in IT and technology related sourcing in both local and international transactions as well as online and consumer focused legal matters in which data protection has been a focus area during recent years. Martin has extensive knowledge of data protection legislation from many practical perspectives including performing data protection due diligence work in connection with transactions, setting up privacy policies and routines for clients, and providing privacy related legal advice. He is continuously hired as an expert advisor in IT and intellectual property-related projects such as outsourcings, licensing structures, personal data advice, software and trademarks, as well as in the context of corporate transactions. Martin received an LL.M from Gothenburg University (2012) and also studied Social Studies in Libera Università Internazionale in Rome during 2011.
