George Michael Gerstein is Counsel at Stradley Ronon's Washington, D.C. office. He advises financial institutions on the fiduciary and prohibited transaction provisions of ERISA. As co-chair of the Fiduciary Governance Group, he assists clients with tracking, and understanding, the numerous fiduciary developments at the federal and state levels, including the rules and regulations of governmental plans. He also advises clients regarding the fiduciary duty implications of ESG investing. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College, a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and a Certification in Business and Public Policy from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of District of Columbia, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania state bars.
